The Difference Between Legality and Morality
Very often, in the abortion debate two ideas are presented- Legality and Morality. Although they are often grouped together, these two things couldn't be more different. Abortion proponents exhibit a confusion when it comes to the morality of our laws. They seem to believe that morals shouldn't influence our laws, when in reality that thinking is completely absurd. Of course morals matter, of course they have a place when deciding laws. After all it's our moral compasses that lead us to recognize right, from wrong. Laws are created (or are supposed to be) to protect people, to keep them from harm, to be the "right" in a world filled with "wrongs". That's why the decision made regarding Roe vs. Wade was a complete and utter misrepresentation of what laws are called to do- to protect. The decision made those 40 years ago was decided not with the good of the people in mind, but rather the wants of the morally void. It's no wonder, that those within the Pro-Life movement sit in disbelief when the case of Roe vs. Wade is discussed as it was an overwhelming injustice that has carried on for an incredibly long amount of time with little to no true opposition. Why is that? Why do we take the easy road when it comes to millions of unborn children being violently slaughter while in what once was deemed "the safest place on Earth"? Why do we allow "wants" to trump needs and what is morally right? Could it be that we as a nation no longer see the line drawn between moral and immoral? What can we do to change our society and culture that has become horrifying to watch? How can we change this culture of death into a culture of life?

Welcome to Upstate New York ProLife Advocates!
We are thrilled to begin this blog- another way to connect with fellow Pro-Lifers and reach others we might have missed through other Social Media outlets. We started out with the intent of spreading real knowledge about abortion, the business of abortion and with the hope of ending this atrocity. Over a short period of time, we learned just how needed this information was as we came into contact with many who've always considered themselves to be ProLife, but who had limited knowledge on the full spectrum of abortion. This advocacy group was formed at a time that is crucial to New York State as well as worldwide, to start asking the tough questions and getting some legitimate answers from supporters of infanticide. It's important to note that the majority of our time is spent on saving lives, not battling with those who's only goal is to make noise rather than make differences. We encourage discussion, but make a point of not purely having a debate friendly zone. We are ProLife, we will always be ProLife and no amount of nonsense, attention-baiting individuals will change that. We like to think that we have a different approach to the abortion issue- non-confrontational, empowered by knowledge and not hearsay, debunking the Pro"Choice" crowd all within a mature, compassionate and kind manner.
So exactly what will this blog entail? Our hope is to inform but also involve our followers- delve deep into the real heart of the abortion issue. We'd like to encourage our readers to write us via email, sharing their personal stories concerning abortion- how it's impacted their lives, how they want to impact other's lives and what they are wanting and/or doing to end this modern day holocaust. Again, we are very happy and excited to start this journey with all of you and we hope to start opening more eyes and hearts.
